

The South Perth Historical Society was established in 1989 to stimulate public interest in our local history, to encourage historical research and publication, and to promote the designation and preservation of historic sites, buildings and stories. It is an incorporated society.
Our ‘Heritage Matters, Guest Speaker meetings commence each year on the third Monday of March at 7:00pm continuing thereafter on the third Sunday of May, July and September at 2:00pm. These gatherings take place in the Community Centre Function Room, Collier Park Village, entrance 16 Morrison Street (next to Penrhos College) COMO.
Our Annual General Meeting is held on the third Monday in November at 7:00pm. Our final annual function is a much enjoyed Christmas BBQ breakfast (Members and invited guests only) The society hosts presentations by guest speakers on subjects generally relating to the history and heritage of South Perth.
